With the smartphone being an integral part of daily life, the need for a secure environment for confidential moments is increasingly important. Pellta One was designed to fill this gap. It provides a sanctuary for smartphones, protecting them from unauthorized access to audio and video data. The device uses a specially developed signal algorithm to prevent the phone's microphones from picking up and transmitting acoustic signals and conversations. Within Pellta One, the smartphone remains accessible and audible, but no longer "hears and sees" anything.

Pellta One is unique in its simplicity, making it accessible for a wide range of users. It is easy to use and can be seamlessly integrated into any work environment. Users simply open the cover, place up to two phones inside, and close it again. The phone remains on reception, and incoming messages and calls can still be heard.

The device is a product of meticulous design and craftsmanship. The main body, a CNC machined aluminum part, acts as the constructive center of the design. The top and bottom are laser cut aluminum sheets, and the final appearance of the body is defined by a robust powder coating finish. All electronic components are embedded in isolating plastic housings from ABS. The device measures 200 mm x 260 mm x 40 mm.

The project was developed over the period from December 2019 to January 2021 in Berlin. The design process involved extensive research into the extent of damage caused by industrial espionage. The designers interviewed customers and professionals, evaluated data from state institutions and research agencies, and worked closely with test customers to refine the product. The result is a patent-pending technology that addresses the broader social needs of future customers.
